Yes. AAFCO nutrient profiles are built into the BESTMIX startup database and checked against the formula as you work, by species and life stage. When you select a life stage, such as adult dog maintenance, the matching requirements load automatically. You choose whether to apply them as active optimization constraints or as reference values the formulator sees without constraining the solver, and you can extend the model with your own internal specs.
Can BESTMIX formulate on the actual lot in the tank, using near-real-time NIR or lab data?+
